What are Pre-apprenticeships all about and are they for me?
A pre-apprenticeship is a full-time course you can choose to complete before you sign on with an employer to do an apprenticeship. What are Apprenticeships about and are they for me?
An apprenticeship involves getting full-time work with an employer who provides you with the opportunity to learn all aspects of a trade. You enter into a formal training contract with an employer that leads to a nationally recognised qualification in your chosen trade. You spend most of the time in paid employment, learning practical skills on the job and putting them into practice.
